Jeff Muller is a renowned luthier, making and repairing stringed instruments and bows in Los Angeles for the past 15 years. His fine work is sought by performing musicians from Los Angeles and all over the world. The son of a luthier, Jeffrey spent much of his childhood around string instruments.At the age of 14, he apprenticed for his father, Albert Muller, where he learned the intricacies of bow making and wood work. In 1985, Jeffrey worked in the shop of Paul Schuback in Portland Oregon and learned the art of violin making.In 1994, he moved back to Los Angeles and worked in the famed Hans Weisshaar Shop and learned the art of restoration. In 1997, Jeffrey established the Angeles Violin Shop.For the past 15 years, he makes and repairs violin, viola, cellos, and bows.He has been recognized for his work by Certificate of Merit for Tone by the Violin Society of America.
